Description

This sculpture is made of 200 tons of black Swedish granite and was commissioned by Bank of America, whose offices used to occupy 555 California Street.

Fun Fact! San Francisco Chronicle columnist Herb Caen nicknamed this piece “The Bankers Heart” and the name stuck.
