Description

This is a depiction of the ocean from the perspective of the Pacific Northwest. The main focus is a giant octopus, surrounded by sea enemies and bull kelp. On the Coast you can see the beginning of the temperate rain forest. Growing up on an oyster farm up the Sunshine Coast, gave me a deep love and fascination for the ocean. I want this mural to remind Vancouverites that there is a whole different world in the ocean that surrounds our city. I feel that the key to our future is in the womb of the ocean, from which life was born.
