Description

This sculpture is crafted from a single piece of metal twisted into several loops and coils. The artwork's name is presumably derived from that of the famous composer; this may be reflected in the piece's ambiguous shape, which, among other things, is vaguely reminiscent of a treble clef in music.

"Motzart" was commissioned collaboratively by the Voigt Family Sculpture Foundation and the City of Healdsburg as part of the city's Foss Creek Pathway project. The sculpture was created by Roger Berry, the noted sculptor based in Northern California.
