Description

“The mural I produced for the inaugural Vancouver Mural Festival was a tribute to figures from the world of Tibetan Buddhist Cosmology. The ox-headed smiling wrathful god Yama, who guards the gates of hell and judges the death, is sitting dominant over a submissive depiction of Mara, the demon that represents temptation and indulgence.” —Paige Bowman
