On the side wall of the old site of L & N Super Thrift Store, overlooking the parking lot of Swann Auto Sales. About 1400 Swan St, NW, on the corner of of 14th St, NW.
Two lovers smooching in the alley. The sides of the art spell out the word "Lovers" but the bottom says "MADRESELVA." Apparently, Madreselva means honeysuckle in Spanish. Is this flower symbolic, or is it also the name of the artist? Anyone know more history? Edit this piece or share the story in the comments.
