Description

Levi Strauss & Co. commissioned Lawrence Halprin to design the park across the street along with this fountain in the 80s. Levi’s wanted to surround their offices with a casual, comfortable outdoor space that matched their jeans.

Fun Fact! The fountain’s centerpiece is a huge block of carnelian granite that was personally selected by Halprin during his research on the FDR Memorial in Washington D.C.
